The IR 2570 S infrared radiator has only minimal heat loss compared to conventional radiant heaters and does not require any operating resources such as oil, gas or other fuels. Uncomplicated use as wall-mounted and free-standing device
The soft warmth of the IR 2570 S, which is particularly pleasant on the skin, is available to you immediately after switching on. The three-stage heat output (850 W, 1,650 W, 2,500 W) can be dosed either via the side-mounted control panel or via the supplied remote control. The radiant heater is protected against dust and splash water from all sides in accordance with protection class IP34 and is suitable for wall mounting in covered outdoor areas. The wall bracket required for mounting is already included in the scope of delivery. As an option, the heater can be mounted on a telescopic stand available as an accessory and thus be positioned even more flexibly as a free-standing model, which further increases the operating radius of the 900 mm wide heater – temporarily even in uncovered outdoor areas.
Programmed for maximum convenience: 24-hour timer
With the 24-hour timer, the switch-off time of the radiant heater can be conveniently programmed in 1-hour steps. So you do not have to think about switching off the appliance. The appliance switches off fully automatically and energy-savingly after the preset operating time!
Direct heat according to the principle of the sun
The high-quality heating quartz element of the IR 2570 S generates heat according to the natural principle of solar radiation (infrared heat). And it does so in a particularly energy-efficient manner, since a large proportion of the energy used is converted into direct heat. It is not the ambient air that is heated by the infrared radiator, rather the objects and people in the direct vicinity of the radiant heater absorb the radiant heat, store it and also release it back into the environment as secondary radiation. The result is an even and targeted heat distribution in the illuminated area, without cold corners.
